The Seaside Amelia Inn website has been moved to Divi. The whole website has been redone from scratch for a better mobile experience.
Website Notes:
- With the old theme now gone, I was able to remove around 20 plugins that were not needed. This will help speed up page paint speed. It will run a lot faster now…
- Removed a ton of old, outdated custom code that was no longer needed… Some of the stuff was 10+ years old…
- Added a Local Weather page. This helps tremendously with local SEO…
- SEO and additional keywords were added to each page…
- Added 360 Tour Page (removed it from the property page and made it its own page.)
- I have Hero sections on every room page in case we need to use them in the future. They are currently hidden…
- Added Accessibility Tab/Button to website, it was missing from the old website…
- Homepage Hero section now has video. Video currently used is Adobe stock video of Amelia Island, which we are allowed to use via our license agreement. We can add additional video in the future…
- All booking links and buttons are updated to new system…
- I used the old contact forms, so we have consistency…
- Tons of other website nerd stuff that would bore you all… But good nerd stuff…
