The Seaside Hotel at the Beach website has been moved to Divi. The whole website has been redone from scratch for a better mobile experience.
Website Notes:
- I was able to remove 12 un-used plugins that slowed down the original website.
- I added ADA to the website. The icon is on the right side of the website. It’s essential and I believe required now on all websites.
- I noticed that while there was contact form on the old website, they did not work correctly. I added Post SMTP and a new Gmail API key. All forms should be working properly now, as I tested them, and they work.
- I added Google Site Map to track all Google traffic on the back end of the website.
- Removed a lot of bad html code and custom code from each page.
- Upsized the current images to 1920×1080+ for better resolution. Most of the current images are 1000px or smaller, which isn’t good visually.
- Added additional SEO to all pages, including keywords.
- The website had 3 “accelerators” so I removed 2. This was slowing the website down.
- Removed a few “un-used” pages that the last developer created but had hidden.
- Website is now fully mobile-friendly, which the old website was not.
- Favicon added for new Logo.
- Tons of other nerd stuff I won’t bore you all with…
